Every year thousands of young Canadians graduate high school and must decide which colleges or universities they’ll attend to start their careers. These young people often take bus trips to attend Open Houses that are hosted by the colleges. Post secondary institutions put a lot of time and energy into receiving such visitors and students are encouraged to explore the grounds and sit-in classes and sample life on campus. Administrators believe the more students can see and experience the lifestyle, the more likely they are to choose the school.
Sign Source Solution is proud to help Seneca College put their best face forward on these formal occasions. We print signage which highlights the special day and helps visitors navigate between places of interest and find rally points. Window Decals Were Made Using Cling-On Vinyl
Sign Source Solution routinely applies and removes specially printed window graphic decals
made to fit specific windows on four separate campuses. We use a high quality Cling-On vinyl product for easy application and removal the next day without any messy glue residue. As you can see in the photos, we made-over the windows and the glass panes in the school’s front entrance doors.
Custom window graphics or custom window decals are inexpensive signage option that can be tailored to reflect your brand or be specially designed for a signature event or promotion. Available in a variety of shapes and sizes, custom window graphics can be opaque, translucent, transparent, metallic or even created using fluorescent colours and finishes. These are great for storefront signage, retail sales displays, tradeshow banners, wall graphics, posters, frameless art, and yes, open houses.
For Seneca College’s 2019 Autumn Open House we choose to print on a perforated material that will allow more natural light into space and allow safer pedestrian travel due to better visibility in doorways.
This was a straight forward assignment for graphic design and deployment of window decals on site. Sign Source Solution received the graphics from Seneca’s administrators and made mockups which were approved in a timely fashion. The project then went into production. The decals were digitally prepared, and printed and cut and prepared and stored until the big day arrived.
On that weekend, Sign Source Solution handled the window and door signage exclusively. Our installation team arrived on Friday and set up the decals which stayed-up for seventy two hours; the signs were removed the following Monday during business hours. Seneca hosts three open houses per year on four separate campuses across the Greater Toronto Area.
