La-Z-Boy is an American furniture manufacturer based in Monroe, Michigan that makes home furniture, including upholstered recliners, sofas, stationary chairs, lift chairs and sleeper sofas. La-Z-Boy furniture is sold in thousands of retail residential outlets across the United States and Canada. Their manufacturing and distribution network employs more than 11,000 people!
In our area, there are three large stores. There is one in the Scarborough Town Centre, another in the Vaughan Mills Shopping Centre and they’re in the Woodbine Power Centre too. These retailers cover a wide swath of Ontario and you can see their delivery trucks plying the roads at all hours of the day. It’s estimated that on any given workday such vehicle advertising in Ontario could impress twenty thousand homeowners. They are traveling billboards and except for exterior store signage, vehicle wraps on delivery trucks are the most cost-effective business advertising possible. That’s because they don’t cost much, and they impact a lot of people.
This project came to us from Graphic Solutions in the USA which made all the print designs. La-Z-Boy is their client and they made the designs that were approved ages ago in Michigan headquarters likely. We’re the applicators and we applied our skills and experience to install the delivery truck vinyl wraps here in Ontario. The finished work was a medley of printed vinyl decals, printed banners, and printed vinyl wraps.

La-Z-Boy is very aware of this marketing channel’s efficiencies and they refresh their delivery truck wraps with new photos and font once per year. The designs are a combination of decals and half-wraps. New banners are stretched across on the truck’s sides and there is a full wrap on the rear gate.
